My wife just got robbed
She took two of our granddaughters 2-4yrs to buy new party shoes (yes im at the school disco tonight) whilst on her knees fastening a shoe buckle on Granddaughter she notices a similar shopping bag leaving the store. On checking for her bag she realised her suspicions were correct. She immediately asked the shop girl to mind granddaughter and gave chase, catches the woman (about 35 years old) and gets into fight trying to drag her back to shop for detention until police arrive. Of course woman is having none of it and thought giving the bag back was enough Well short of the story is that more than reasonable force was required and the woman lost a purse in the fray. My wife returned to the shoe shop and checked the purse for identity unfortunately there was none just £35 in cash which she is minding until the woman comes to collect. Im not sure that my wife cant get into trouble for some of her actions but she thinks the blood on her knuckles and £35 quid was not a bad days entertainment.

Bet its all on some CCTV footage somewhere................ I would have thought your wife would only be in trouble if she had actually succeeded in handing over the woman to the rozzers --- - and then the woman would have accused your wife of undue force or some crap like that. Have the police being informed of the incident?

Maybe the woman got onto a car and sped away.................
call me a cynic Norm..... but if she did speed away and the old bill stopped her, I guarantee they would nick her for speeding and do naff all about the handbag
