We've installed a few of these with no major problems but its not our main panel. We've got an isolated case on a system installed about 18 months ago where we've got a wireless portal and about 4 standard wireless PIRS and four door contacts where it keeps coming up low battery on various devices. I think so far its got through 7 or 8 new batteries and a few of the PIRs have had required two new batteries. What do you guys think might be wrong? Could it be the portal because thats what I'm thinking it could be, or possibly the panel? Have I got the supervisory setting up too high or something? I've tried taking off the walktest LED's on the PIRs by flicking the switch inside but doesnt seem to make any difference as the LED still flashes.
I was under the impression that the batteries would last 4 to 5 years.
Anyone any ideas its just the customer is losing faith in us!!!
