Installed 2 act smart2 controller, ive used a switch mode psu, coz this is what enterprise now send out (elmdene).

Ive not yet powered up, but was just looking at manual for programming fobs and it says do not use a switch mode psu, why?

I really cant be arsed to swap it for a linear psu, ive been messed about like a right twat on this site, just want it finished in the morning.

Ta, love you lots

Went up in smoke, lol,

Not really, all working fine - ish. Ill give act a bell and see what they say.

With all the options on the act, its a shame you cant reverse the input for door release button as ive got an intercom to connect in it.

But i do like it, enrolling fobs is a joy, think control soft might be loosing out on my future access installs, but then again, to make act an equal in making it more secure, you have to purchase extra kit.
