PS, we had a compo.
My polishing was better,

Thus I won, so had to "bully" both of them!

Bonus, the shop has a faulty CCTV PSU.
Have one in my shed, going to get over half the price of the boots back. Result, every penny counts so to speak!

i always found kiwi parade gloss was the best polish on my boots, but always used kiwi revive first to nourish the leather, we were always tought to look after your boots and they will look after you.

Twas Parade Gloss. Have Guardsmans as well but never get on with it.

Ty for the "nice job" never served myself, was taught by a m8.
But strive to get Kyle to do as good as he can.
His effort was almost as good, he`s only 14 but has the right attitude.

Cheers again.

I never served in the regulars but did 5 years as a cadet and 18 months in the TAs, failed a fitness exam to join the regulars, and was absolutly gutted, i had dreams of being in the REMES from a young age.

i tried guardsman once but found it too hard for bulling never tried cherry blossom,
when i got married my wifes cousins fella is a ex dragoon guard, and he bulled mine, best mans fathers and ushers shoes, he was like a machine in my kitchen the night before lol. just keep giving him tea and he kept polishing lol, we looked mint the next day

Closest i can get is a pair of oxfords and liquid polish to go with number 1 dress.

M8 was ex Marines (RMC) taught me how to "bully" just said always use Kiwi Parade.
Girly did 22 in Royal Navy, she says the same.
As you can tell have a few m8ts serving and served.
Why I have no qualms that Kyle wants to join up, hes in the Royal Signals Cadets.

Takes minutes, gets a better result than a "bottle of shine".

15 seconds tops for a proper wet look shine. Do you still have a quill?

As above mentioned, these are "ARMY" boots.
Designed to protect feet and ankles. Look after them, the look after you.
A good clean and polish keeps them waterproof, the front shine is for parade and self-respect and discipline.

No quill, a friend has a few. but she is big into exquisite hand writing. And does so for wedding invites ect. ( Sorry the name of this escapes me, you can Google it).
I am all for doing things "right" in our game. Shortcuts are for "w**kers*.  So looking after footware is not to be done half heartedly.
My mother bought me a leather jacket ( Casual, not biker one) 25 years ago. £400 then. I wear it generally in the winter or on cold nights. It is kept on a hanger and 3 times a year fed "leater nourishment" and given a light coating of dubbing.
It is immaculate, many when feeling the weight of it wish to purchase it. It is not like cheap not very good today in the shops.

Moral here, look after decent "kit" it looks after you.

I know your trying to get me to bite ( and I have), but only to prove a point.
Think of your tools, do you not sharpen your chisels? Recondition/charge your cordless batteries?

Same thing really, or are you as disposable as your attitude Tongue

You know I like your style of humour, so this is not a dig.
