I've got a HP 2550n colour laser here at home. Top printer, highly recommended. also got an epson photo printer that drinks ink prints perfect photos but spends half it's life having the heads cleaned. Used to have a Brother 760 mono Laser, had it years and it was rock solid. HP and canon have a technology cross licensing agreement so several of their laser printers share a common engine. A good example of this would be the HP laserjet 4L/P and the Canon LBP 4L/U.

I am ... the darn thing has stopped working ... keeps telling me that the paper output tray is closed when it isn't and it refuses to print anything. Now it has to be sent back to Parcel Force Coventry to be despatched to France (manufacturers) where it will be inspected and tested to decide if a refund or replacement is warranted - last time I buy anything like this from Amazon
