Commendable! 21 and even contemplating your own insurance. Most drive on mamas or dont bother, dont they? We pay an additional £1k per anum on our fleet policy for any driver under 23. But guess who think they are the best drivers yet have the most dents  yes.

i know the price my boss is paying and its miles less then this......miles. liability is cheap though.

i'd pay i grand without i care, but they are all around 2k. and the one i'm listed on is nothing like a grand.

Dont need to. My wifes uncle has a road trap. No insurance or MOT, i think the driver has to be over 14 years though

We have a mni-fleet policy with Norwich Union now which covers our 4 vehicles. When we only insured a van I found www.directline.com or tesco to be cheapest.

As for public liability the stumbling point is eficacy. If you are not bothered about that you can pick up a policy for about £100.

Tesco price will be similair to Direct Line.

Are you a subcontractor or installer? Efficacy is needed if you are an installer not required if you are a subby.
