Now they are removing all parking meters and machines. You park now and there is a number on the post where you are. Phone it input the post number and credit card details then put in the minutes you wish to park (maximum 240, 4 hours) then they say 4 quid an hour plus a 20p surcharge. Do you want a text to say your near the limit, thats extra as well!!!

Got hit by my 1st one today, still don't know how the receipt is sent out, told the office if they see ***FILTERED WORD*** e on my company card and no proof of expenditure to ring the council!

Bloody liberty to do this and its on a 0870 number.

My Chaps were working central London last week installing CCTV no parking charges, no congestion charge, no worries, how? they worked over night with torch's gaffer taped to their helmets.

Working nights in London.....its the future!

Well, I haven't got a credit card so I won't be working in London again then, not that I want to, cost me 50 quid last time I was there and the job only took 2 hours.

38 quid to park the car for 8 hours.

only 28 here to have it there for a week - no clamping !!!

i charge the company (i work for) a 3€/h and do NOT pay anything for a parking unless they notice that the previous fine on the windshield wiper is REALLY old and they issue a new one.. however - that is way more cheap than to bother with parking meters..
