Thanks guys.

She's got some of the cards already, and it sounds like there's more to come.

Just to let you know, she had a smashing weekend. On Friday (her birthday) we just chanced on a place in Devon that was having a Halloween BBQ & firework evening, and she loves fireworks ..... then on Saturday I had arranged free tickets to see the new Bond Movie at Tiverton (I know the cinema owner), and when we got there they had taped off the entire back row for us and there were flowers and chocolates waiting for her. We felt like royalty!

When we arrived back home it could have made her feel, 'well here we go, back to reality' and start worrying about her results ...... but there in the porch was a bundle of your cards. .... so she's back on cloud 9 again. Thanks again.

Just to let you all know....

Carol had her scan and the results seem OK. She has to go for another scan and check up in January. She's finished her treatment ..... and her hair is growing back.

Receiving cards from lot's of you made a real difference for her. She was so grateful that so many took the trouble. Women love cards and at a time like this it was great for her. .... and the cards didn't all come together, they came over a few weeks, so it just seemed like it was a never ending steam.

I've sent a message of thanks to all who responded .... except for one. There was one card with no name, so if you haven't had a PM from me, it was probably from you. lol.

Round 2 lads, christmas cards this time.

Thanks for the thought Adi .... but no, the other ones have done the trick. .... and if you send Christmas ones she'll feel the need to send ones back, and although she is much better she gets tired easily (she went to bed about 8 o clock) so I don't want her sending loads of cards this year.

Glad Carol enjoyed the cards.

Just get her to look on here.

Happy Christmas and a fantastic new year.
