We strive to help, but it is chargeable.

« on: June 08, 2011, 06:05:06 PM »
I have a pair of shoes a birthday pressie worth about £150 but the heel has come loose ( probably due to the silly walk ATM Cheesy).
Does anyone know of a decent shoe repairers anywhere in or near London?
I ask because I have inquired at a local "heel bar" and quite frankly would not trust them to even polish the shoes from the look of the place.

I would be willing to pay a reasonable amount for the repair as the shoes are really comfy and although about 5 yrs old look like new.
I look after  items like this, my leather jacket is 26 yrs old now and is pristine ( another birthday pressie, but this one was £400 26 yrs ago).
Oh and it fits perfectly Cheesy

Thanks.
I, in my dimness only searched shoe repairers.
Cobblers is the obvious word needed.
KG is the closest to me and will call them tomorrow.

BTW have to wear them occasionally. Was in court last week as a character witness for a very good sparky m8 I have known for 30 yrs. Some dork accountant decided after the works were completed he disagreed with the invoice and works done. Even though he had approved all works as well as the site manager and tos..architect

Thanks m8ty.

But he is. Used to help him out on weekends and even took hols to work with him sometimes. Taught me a hell of a lot.
He uses me for the  "milivolts" as he calls this game Cheesy
I like the way he says if his stuff goes wrong there is a big bang and you can find it rather than chasing about with a test meter lol.
He hates anything to do with intruder/cctv/access.
