They state on the website it has a fair user limit of 3Gig, go over it constantly and they may have words.

However, for the market it's aimed at, eg, peeps on the road, it's damned good value compared to £12-15 per night in hotels

Certainly better value that the hotel cost ... BUT, if it's 'unlimited' it should be 'unlimited' - if it's 3Gig, it's 3Gig, not 'unlimited' ... there is no such thing as 'unlimited' and it should be a trading standards offence to make such a statement IMO.

I thought it was an offence, something that was introduced recently as everyone had 'unlimited' packages that actually weren't.

that reminds me, got the flooded "norm towers" all back together as you was in hotel at one time?
Thats why  I have it, we spent four weeks in a hotel and are now in a nice let property, the couple who let it have gone away for 10 months round the world as they do every year! they have put a 'postpone' on the line on the house and BT would only offer me a 12 month contract even though I offered to pay for 12 months up front but in reality will only need 6-9 months. It does exactly as I want and the fair usage limit will be contested if I ever exceed it (unlikely) as the girly on the phone failed to mention the 3g limit although I had read it in the policy before ringing. Norman towers has just been given the dry certificate and I have a pre contractors meeting this Wednesday were I need to iron out a few issues with the reinstatement schedule that I am disputing as I will not allow the builder access until I have things in writing!!
