This is probably a stupid question to some of you but i wondered if its possible to use my PDF copy of my letterhead to use as a stationary in Outlook, ive tried and i cant get it to work.
Basically what i wanted to do was to tart up my business emails to reflect the corporate image or flavour of my letterhead/ business cards etc.
I have PDF proofs of them supplied by my printers (printing.com) and wanted to incorporate them electronically where ever i could.
Easy peasy for you but a mare for me.

ok then my mail server strips all html content as if you had html content enabled in your mail client i could do all sorts inside html that would never be aware of. It is very insecure. Also no corporte will send html based email.
It also annoys me when people stick backgrounds in etc, as it works ok in outlook, but in webmail and on my pda's its a right mess.

use rtf and word it well and use nice (basic) fonts.
Over complicated will have a negative effect on the image your trying to create IMHO
but if you do want it then ill knock you a html mail sig up that wont compromise your machine...i promise lol

ok thats good enough for me, how come corporate emails contain all that sort of stuff then? Do they just relie on us either letting it pass or let our machines treat it as we like?

I will take you up on the offer btw what do you need?

send me how you would like it to look and send me the pdf and ill post it back.
Most corporates dont mind sending it as the user thinks 'oh thats pretty' they just dont realise what it can do. Also html bypasses some checks if being viewed in the preview window. Its not as bad as the ie5 days but still if your machine isnt patched i could do a bit of damage with my limited knowledge
