Have to give them their due, the equipment turned up when they said ( Home Hub and ancillaries).
Then the engineer turned up on the early part of the visit times ( 8-1) )9:30 he arrived.
Tracked back to exchange, drilled thru and fitted everything.
Clean tidy, hovered up ect.
Made sure BB was on and refused a tip at the end.

100% on that lot.

Been told speeds will vary for a few days, already tested faster than promised ATM 20meg down and 1.2 down.
Thats on copper, soon will have FTC.

100% on that.

Even he said he was suprised how happy I was with the service Cheesy
Does it get worse?

Hell yeah!
When we moved before crimbo, we had a gauranteed connection date, no one turned up!
Re-arranged appointment they turned up but couldnt connect us up because the joints hadnt been made in the street boxes.
Then it frikken snowed so they were delayed.............

Just playing about on the tinterwet and this is actually better than the what I had with Orange ( Freeserve. Wanadoo) with a BT line.
I was a bit wary as BT sort of handcuffed me with charges unless I went with their BB and lin in new place.
So far still impressed.

Seen that done, just chop their bit out and carry on. Been on many sites where BT\OR have completely ignored any on site cable management and wrapped cables around everything in sight. Snipetty snip. sex em, morons.

Must admit the bloke I had did slate other engineers ( Must be a LV cable person thing). But he was very neat and tidy. Asked before he drilled, used my hover as he drilled to catch the debris ( I do that too). Bubbled the backbox level.
As always there are good and bad. Obviously got a goodun!

I've only met 2 types, the complete spastic who doesn't know one end of a screwdriver from the other and the failed sparky who talks a good job but still couldn't line 2 boxes up in parallel or get a single one on straight.
