Just wondering about peoples thoughts on the benefit of confirm. Our actual false alarm rate is the lowest its ever been. I for one have been in favour of DD243 since its first inception. Has everyone had the same results.

Dont really see any change here because we always used 2nd zone reporting on abacus panel before DD243

Also used DA Abacus but false alarm rates are down compared with non-confirmed, however I'm not entirely happy with all of the aspects of DD243, IMO it's more geared toward not upsetting the police than catching villains - a product of poor equipment and stupid customers. As always the majority are penalised for the errors of the idiots.

Prox unsetting needs looking at, for small shop / offices where everything needs to be on entry.

There was talk at the NSI regional meeting about publishing them, but it was decided (Dont ask me by who because all at the meeting were in favor) against. I would be happy for ours to be published as others have said lower than ever.

I think the sequential thing is good but some of the other rules of DD243 need looking at.

Yup, as my disclaimer says.
I'm trying to educate the salesmen but they always know better.

Seen quite a spate of breakins through the entry door recently.

Don't think torturing salesmen with hot knives will help though angus  001_tongue

I could always send them for a quick trip in a vectra with James as punishment
