Hello everyone,
I could do with your help, views and experience in establishing an effective agenda for SSS Management Services ARC seminar in Bristol;

We are holding a number of events starting in July 2010. Each seminar will be focused on industry compliance and improvement; we will also be looking for ways to improve ARC performance, based on direct feedback from installers/alarm engineers and industry professionals. We also want to explore the benefits of relevant inspectorate bodies (NSI/SSAIB etc) automated reports associated to maintenance inspections. We have a number of key note speakers and a full tour of SSS ARC.

Could you please answer the following questions?

1 - What do you want from an industry focused seminar?
2 - What improvement of service would you like to see from your ARC?
3 - What technology updates would you like to see?
4 - Which ARC do you use?
5 - Do you see a difference between your corporate clients and high end domestic clients? If so what are the key differences in ARC support?

At the seminar we are looking to broaden our approved supplier database for the 14000 properties we manage. I have limited spaces left for the seminar, the event is free and should help develop communication within our industry, it would be great to see you there. To confirm your attendance or if you have any questions please feel free to contact me direct.

Thank you for your time.

W

Ideally, direct test signals sent as text to engineer booked on system, better response to engineers when testing, servicing etc. Present more and useful infomation to our mutual client when passing signals, ie with enchanced signalling. onlne login for our clinets to modify and control keyhodler details are reports.

If SSS are just entering the ARC market I think you've picked a difficult time. You'll need deep pockets cos it'll take some time to become profitable.

Presumably the 'seminar' is for SSS to harvest information. I think you'll only get a worthwhile attendance if you offer a reason for companies to attend .... a decent meal or a celebrity speaker ..... even then, because of the geographical spread of your targets it'll be a struggle to acheive a good attendance. I'm 200 miles away so there's litte chance of me being there unless Katherine Jenkins is gonna be there

SSS work with many of the UK's leading retailers, we are a Managed Service company that maintains, installs and manages over 14,500 properties throughout the entire UK. We have operated an ARC for over 16 years; in 2001 we up graded to the ARC in Bristol with a £2m investment. The ARC is NSI Gold certified.

To date we have predominantly been working with the end user direct. As part of the seminar and our expansion we intend to increase and open our supply chain. This will give any quality installer the chance to develop and expand there operation, locally and regionally. Our approach is always a partnered one, to this end we want to make sure any installer we work with receives the very best support and increase any potential connection opportunity.

For the record – we will be providing lunch, however I can not confirm any celebrity attendance!

All the best
