Advice or recommend please.

5 way door intercom, 4 flats and one managers office.

The manager would like the facility of talking to each flat from their office, sort of a master handset and slaves in each of the flats.

Anyone know of such a system?

Thought of that but they would prefer an office based handset plus thinking about it the flats may want to call down to the office...

QFA used to be Teltronic, that job has Commend all over it but like Rich says not cheap at all. Very very customer focussed company and very proffesional. Go to any job which has Commend or Teltronic and they will have spec, kit list, schematics etc..

They have decided to open the door and shout upto the flats, satisfied with the quote for a normal VIDEX door plate and 5 handsets.

Kewl, always good to see the outcome after some advice asked.

I sometimes think  ( Not you personally) we never get enough feedback.
Always good to see the end game.

Cheers

Mind you, i haven't fitted it yet. The flats service type guy only phoned me yesterday to say the owners had agreed to the quote, plus CCTV as well. Trouble there is they insist on buying the cameras themselves, so be it, i charge for install, they can have the hassle of the COP when it goes wrong. No warranty for me to cover, and its easy work.

Re: COP, I was a strong vocal opponent over their warranty policy and issues revealed at TSI when Chris was a member there - however I needed a small test monitor a while back and found what I wanted at COP so with heavy heart ordered one.
It failed after 3 months and I worried that I would get hassle all over again, however I had a free replacement with free pickup for the return.
After 13 months the replacement failed and although out of warranty a free pickup was arranged and after a couple of days I had a better unit sent to me as a replacement.
The test monitor was the only thing I have bought from them for years but I have to say service this time around was in sharp contrast to what I had received in the past ... could things have changed?

Well I hope so, you may remember I also had a run in with COP, to the point of being threatened with legal action against myself.
That, run in amongst others I think forced the returns issue.
As such I would still not use them if they were the last supplier in the world, but that is a personal opinion and as you say things may have changed.
