From the other side....   Made me laugh.

Galaxy 3

Anyone hear ever had to walk test a large site by your self? i think so. appart from toing and frowing between the keypad and detector or having two people and a phone, anyone worked out a way of doing it as i dont hing honeywell have made a radio RKP yet!! and with the usual tone the speaker gives out you can only tell that a single zone is open so when youv got 40 other contractors on site it doesnt work al all.

any ideas welcome

just came across this one, guess someone didn't realise what "NO ENTRIES" meant and was testing one at a time!  no wonder it was taking so long..

don't use 'em, but would expect to walk the site then check log?

yeah, spot on - but if you don't program a zone as omittable then you can't bulk walk test them, you can only test one at a time (which sounds like what he was doing) - bit of an odd one..

so in a normal commerical building you'd expect to change attributes of all the zone to walk test ?

no, you can also just select which zones you want to test but most people don't realise this.

Total walk but still a pain in the arse if the installer leaves all the spare circuits scrolling in the walk test and does'nt program any descriptions for the used circuits !

G3 is the same as the Classic walk test, but you have a "silent" option aswell.

You can select whatever you want, that is the whole point.

Group by group ect. Zone by zone. Just one zone. Silent or bleeping.
